Rapport by Speech Graphics

This tutorial outlines how to import Copresence scans into Rapport, a platform for AI-based audio and text-driven character animation by our partner Speech Graphics.

Avatar Import

As a prerequisit, you need to have a Copresence account and a recorded avatar with exports unlocked. If you don’t have an unlocked avatar, you may also choose the default ‘Demo Avatar’ which is added to every account and unlocked by default.

Also, you will need an account on Rapport that runs the Creator subscription.

If you have both things set up, proceed as follows.

  1. Log into the Copresence web app and select your unlocked avatar. Click the ‘…’ and choose download. Select Rapport and download the tailored .glb asset file.

  2. Head over to your Rapport workspace and select or create your project. In the Design step navigate to the Character pane and under My Characters click Create new Character. A dialog opens.
